Since 2004, HFoL has has done a summer trip. The summer trip tends to focus around time with the girls in the orphanage and painting new churches as they are dedicated.

This is also a special time for Pastor Jim Pearce and Pastor Yobani. During this time, they are able to go away for a time of rest and renewal.  This will be the 9th year Pastor Jim Pearce and Pastor Yobani have been blessed to go away for a personal retreat.
