Our desire is to protect the dignity of our Honduran friends by not giving them handouts. All that we do is in submission to a local church that has ministered effectively for the past 23 years. All help we give goes through that local church. 

We also try hard to serve and love by not attempting to "fix" their poverty. We choose rather to trust the local church and our board meets with their board at least three times a year to see how we can best work together instead of us going on our own and doing work projects that may or may not long-term help the local people. 

God has allowed us to assist the Fuente de Vida in helping to build the main church, several mountain churches, the orphanage, help fund the church school, do medical clinics, supply materials for Biblical training of the mountain pastors, helping with micro-economic projects targeted to help mountain church pastors and others.
