Our most recent team returned safely on January 1, 2012. There were 14 on this team from age 12 to 55.
This team had the blessing of delivering Christmas presents to the 35 girls and staff of the Hogar de Niñas in Taulabe. They also helped paint an addition to the church school which will allow 150 of the poorest children in the area to have an education and hear the Good News of Jesus. They also attended mountain churches and rang in the New Year with the people of Taulabe.
The focus of the trip was building relationships so the team spent alot of time with the girls in the orphanage, and they helped paint! The next team of 20 will go on January 27, then March 30 and in the summer. So far over 300 have gone on teams to Taulabe over the past 8 years.
